Microsoft allows people with domains to create there own customized Hotmail account. Basically if you own a website domain. You can goto http://domains.live.com/ - sign up with a existing Hotmail account (This will become your primary account to control the rest) Once you login, you have the option to "Add Domain" it will ask you to enter your domain (example www.happymanarcade.com)
Next it will ask a security question (just making sure your not a BOT. You Accept the terms, it will then ask you to prove you own that domain. There are some fields that you must copy and ad to your DOMAIN account (who ever hosts your domains - example GODADDY.COM)
The firs thing is to change the MX record - copy the long string of numbers to your DOMAIN ACCOUNT, next they require you to TXT string as well - just copy and paste as directed you should be ok.
Once done and OWNERSHIP is proven to hotmail. Your good to go to start creating email addresses with your domain giving nice professional look.
So for mine it could be [email protected] or [email protected] etc etc.
They allow up to 500 email accounts on a single domain. Go ahead and make your business look professional without somthing like [email protected] - doesn't look as nice.
